So you want to pretty up your posts with a little signature. It's a nice way to add a little pizazz to the end of every post.
First off you have to have a signature... You can go to a site a like MyLiveSignature.com and get one, you can have one made by a designer, or you can make one yourself using Photoshop, Paint, Gimp or many of the other various programs out there. A tip about making the signature...
Make sure the background around the signature matches the color of your post background or make your background transparent and save it as a png file.
After you're done making your signature go to an image hosting site and upload it, I use Photobucket.
In a seperate tab open up your blog. Go to Setting/Formatting/Post Template(the box at the bottom). Paste the following code into that box..
<p><img class="centered" alt="post signature" src="Signature URL" /></p>
After you've pasted that into the post template box, go back to your image hosting site and copy the direct link to your image. Then replace "Signature URL" in the above code with the link you just copied. Hit save and your all done.
Please note that this will not put the signature on old posts, only new ones. If you would like to put it into your old blog posts, you will have individually edit each post to add it in.
If you are not fond of the box around the signature, you can easily remove it by going to Layout/Edit Html. Look in your code for .post img. It should look similar to the image below. Make sure the border is set to zero, and click on save.
That should take care of the box.. Enjoy your new Signature!
